New Study Says Having a Pet Cat Does Not Cause Mental Illness
A new study focusing on the links between a cat-borne parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis and mental health disorders found no evidence that the cat ownership during gestation or childhood was associated with early signs of mental illness on Wednesday, according to The Washington Post. The study found that 5,000 children in the United Kingdom didn't have any evidence associated with psychotic experiences such as hallucinations or delusions of being spied on though they had childhood feline...
